*(well actually, not my favorite. my favorite is independent thrift stores. Second favorite is shopping small and local. so this is my third favorite.)

 Getting Started:

It’s OK to start small! I started with what I could afford, and grew from there as people requested larger parties. Looking back, It would have been nice to have uniform things for larger parties (up to 12 is a good place to start). I encourage you to choose a number and work backwards. Don’t worry about creating a lot of different themes at the start, a neutral palette will be the most versatile: then you can use a colorful table runner and flowers to do the rest!

Here are the essentials for getting started:

Table (Build Instructions in Digital Library: PP Fam exclusive)

  • Cushions: these are important for the comfort of your guests. Try to get thick, durable pillows with a removable cover in case it gets dirty. Look for Pillows from 20-24 inches.

  • Pillow Covers. So you don’t end up with hundreds of different pillows, but you can achieve different looks.

  • Blanket Liners, AKA flannel-backed waterproof tablecloths.

  • Quilts (a lightweight rug can also be used)

  • Blankets for layering

  • Throw Blankets for when it gets chilly

  • Candle Sticks (Gold) (Black) (White/Neutral)

  • Table Runners (Gauze Texture or Chiffon)

  • Cloth Napkins

  • Gold Cutlery (single use option here, too)

  • Lanterns

  • Taper LED Candles and Pillar LED Candles (for lanterns)

  • Vases: Large and Small

  • Faux Flowers (I would recommend going in-person to choose, or ordering a pretty dried arrangement you can use over and over!)

  • Goblets (Clear)

  • Ice Bucket
